Develop steady-state process simulations for design, optimization, and performance evaluation of industrial operations.
Implement dynamic process simulations to analyze transient behavior, enhance control strategies, and improve operational safety.
Utilize a wide range of simulation tools for various engineering applications.
Conduct process simulation training courses.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate simulation insights into broader project goals.
Review and validate process engineering-related documents such as PFDs, Heat & Material Balances (H&MBs), P&IDs, Cause & Effect (C&E) diagrams, datasheets, and control philosophies to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Prepare comprehensive documentation, reports, and presentations detailing simulation methodologies, findings, and recommendations for process improvements.
Effectively communicate with customers, other technical disciplines, and the organization’s project management team.
Provide ongoing technical support and consultancy to clients, ensuring solution effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
Participate in field assignments. Work requires application of engineering knowledge and experience in areas of assignment.
Preform additional duties as may be expected in a post of this level.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant.
0- 3 years of process experience in the field of oil & gas.
Previous experience as a DCS engineer is an advantage.
Fast learner with a desire/motivation to learn cutting-edge new technologies.
